Ecoliteracy Love-letter

Dear Life Partner,

I just want to say thank you, thank you for showing me the light in the world during the darkest of times. The way in which you stop to appreciate the world around you, to take a deep breath and understand where we came from and where we are headed has changed my life and our home for the better. You listen to the concerns of the world around you with an open mind knowing that we are equal to earth and all its creatures. Your honesty and trust to teach me things about your past, your culture, and your future goals and dreams have inspired me to look past my fears of the world. You have no judgement when it comes to our conversations about what ecoliteracy means to us. I am so grateful that we respect eachothers opinions of the earth below us and learn from eachothers every growing knowledge. Thank you for being the person that inspires me to be environmentally conscious, it has changed my life forever.

Our life together belongs out in the wild, with mountains all around us, the sun beaming down on us and earth growing below us. Soon my love. But for now we must remember to stop and look up.
